My husband booked this apartment for a surprise family break for ourselves & 2 teenage sons. We are enjoying a fantastic week. The weather has been mostly kind but quite happy to stay in on a wet day as the accommodation is superb. Light, airy & spacious with many useful extras included. Excellent cottage with lovely views. Everything we needed and more was provided... Quay Holidays have been excellent too. Would recommend you visit the Speedway - Poole Pirates - on Wednesday evenings and take in a trip to Swanage on the Steam Train. If you like Teddy Bears there is an excellent shop - Corfe Bears - in Swanage. Best fish and chips ever had from the chip shop on the way to Sandbanks.

Very nice flat with everything we needed. The location was central so great for ferries to Brownsea Island (spend a few hours there!) and beaches at Sandbanks. Had lunch and drinks at "Shore Cafe" ... If you are driving, Corfe Castle is worth the trip - only 20 mins by car and fun for kids and adults. If you spend time at the Quay (area around here), go to "Custom House" restaurant - the service was great... Weather was sunny. Great flat. Thanks!

Three little kiddies and 5 grown ups had a lovely time at 8 Avalon. The children loved the swings - one for each of them - and the 5 year old enjoyed the Barbie DVDs! We've had a lovely stay - the house is spacious, airy and comfortable and we've spent a lot of time on the beautiful sandy beach at Sandbanks. The weather has been mixed but we only got rained in one morning (not bad for the English seaside!) Even with mixed weather we've had a great holiday and feel very relaxed and ready to return to land-locked London!

There were eleven of us here from different backgrounds, different nationalities but friends and family united in our faith in Jesus Christ. We enjoyed our time in this lovely house and the children enjoyed the garden. We fount it an excellent location for getting out and about and we glad to have comfortable beds to rest in at the end of busy days seeing the sights. Thank you very much for sharing it with us. Our group was a family of 8 (or shall I say 2 families) 4 adults and 4 children. The house was clean on arrival and the rooms are all well decorated and spacious. The children enjoyed playing in the garden despite the rain, had a lovely break. They thoroughly enjoyed playing with all the toys provided and the extensive range of DVDs. The house was a good base and we were able to make trips to the local beaches with ease. The information provided in the information folders again was very useful. We also enjoyed an Indian dinner takeaway from Rajasthan's and would recommend.

Thank you so much for the opportunity of renting your flat. We've had a happy six weeks here. Only 10 mins to work to the theatre and very close to the delights of Poole Quay. The accommodation is well equipped and has allowed us to have the occassional overnight visitor. All in all we've made it home from home for the entire panto season. I have told the theatre about it, maybe other visiting performers will be tempted to stay here too.

It has often been said that all of the best places in Bournemouth are actually in Poole, and I think that is even more true now than it was 30 years ago, when I left the area. Part of the reason is surely the vibrancy around Poole Quay, with its multitude of real ale pubs and eating places, and 5 Angel Mews is fantastically well located, within walking distance not only of the Quay, but all parts of the town centre. The house itself is tastefully furnished and well equipped, with everything that might conceivably be needed for a holiday of any length. The kitchen especially is clean and relatively spacious, with a large fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine, and plenty of cupboard space. Some people might feel that the lounge diner is a bit of a squeeze for eating, but by moving the table marginally we could comfortably seat 6 adults. The master en-suite bedroom is on the top floor and is very comfortable, with more than adequate drawer and cupboard space for a holiday. The other two bedrooms are somewhat smaller, but equally comfortable. Having three double beds is a limiting factor for families (Our family group consisted of two couples and our two adult sons), however a high quality Z bed is available, and the owner was happy for us to use this in the lounge. If we had one criticism it was that the house was cold on arrival, as the central heating had gone off by then (around 10 pm) and it took us a while to work out how to switch it back on and adjust the thermostat etc. It was a particularly cold spell and of course it would have been quite difficult for the owner to prepare for this. Perhaps some clear instructions could have been left on the kitchen table however, to avoid us having to dig out the reference book and operating manual? (In fairness it would have been asking quite a lot for the owner to have remembered we were arriving late in the evening – with hindsight perhaps we should have mentioned this again shortly beforehand, given the weather forecast). At other times the house was comfortably warm, despite the freezing temperatures outside. Whilst there is plenty to do and see, within walking distance of the house, obviously to fully explore the surrounding area a car is ideal, and we were able to park our large MPV (with roof box) under the allocated car-port, which is behind the electric gate. All in all we loved the house and consider it a perfect base for anyone holidaying in Poole. We think it offers value for money and were particularly impressed that the owner offers flexibility in length of stay – we were there for 5 nights over Easter. We look forward to staying at 5 Angel Mews again in the future.

We have so enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house, thank you. Everything spotlessy clean, beds, linen and towels lovely. The little touches like fresh herbs in the garden all much appreciated. The children enjoyed feeding the fish and our easter egg hunt int he garden. A lovely beach day on Friday, walks on Studlad and fab lunches at the Shell Bay Restaurant and Fishy Fishy in Poole, followed by crabbing, who could ask for more?
