My family an absolutely wonderful holiday in Bournemouth. We stayed at a property called Beachcliff in Southbourne. Cannot fault the property. Definitely 5 star. Spacious and confortable. Plenty to do in Bournemouth but nearby we visited - Maka (a mediterraenean), Bistro on the Beach and Lupo Lounge. There were others but we just did not have enough time to visit. You can easily walk to Bournemouth from Southbourne. Southbourne also has a fantastic cheese shop called Parlourmentary - we even bought some to take home! A quaint little sweet shop, plenty of independent coffee shops, bakeries, Sobo Fish, and more restaurants and even an ice cream Parlour called Unicorn, Brewhouse & Kitchen, The Commodore. Just so much in such a small place. In Westbourne we visited The Libertine which is definitely worth a visit. If you have children, definitely take them to Splashdown but booking in peak time a must - hours of fun! Took a lovely 40 minute Bournemouth Pier cruise on the Dorset Belle. Enjoyed a great day out on Sandbanks - well worth the visit - in fact all the beaches are extremely clean. Bournemouth centre is very busy and there is a lot to do and see. After the boat cruise we walked up and had a coffee at the Russell Cotes Art Gallery and Museum. A real gem of a place. We will definitely be visiting again. So impressed with Bournemouth! Thank you Quay Holidays xx
