Location

POOLE TOWN - Quayside, shops, historic Old Town, boat trips, events, theatre and much more.... Poole Town lies approximately 6 miles west of Bournemouth and is highly accessible both by car and by train – the station is moments from the main shopping area. Poole is an excellent base for exploring the beautiful country of Dorset, its stunning beaches and its Jurassic Coast, a UNESCO World Heritage site. For cultural events, the Poole Lighthouse theatre and concert hall offers a dazzling array of dramatic productions and music, and is home to the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra. Shopping facilities in Poole focus around the Dolphin Shopping Centre and the pedestrianised High Street, interspersed with cafes and coffee shops for well-earned refreshment. A stroll down the High Street leads visitors to Poole Quay, and the multitude of bars and restaurants offering an excellent array of culinary choice. Once replete, why not walk off lunch with a stroll on The Quay and along the harbourside path at Baiter? The beauty of Poole Town is that all of these attractions and facilities are within easy walking distance of each other. Whilst Poole Town is an excellent base for beaches and for exploring the beauty of the Dorset countryside, there is no shortage of things to do and see on its very doorstep!

The location of the property was brilliant. It was in a relatively quiet spot but literally a minute or two walk to the Quay in one direction and the High Street in the other and a few minutes walk to many pubs and restaurants.

We loved the location and the set up of the house, it was comfortable and clean. Was really easy to collect the keys and information provided for our stay was great. We really appreciated the lovely touches like household essentials provided for our arrival too, especially the wine :0) The harbour and shops are all just round the corner, but still a quiet area to stay in. Seagulls are noisy in the mornings but with the windows closed you can hardly hear them. Overall we loved our stay here and highly recommend the property.

Location was excellent. The office was easy to find to collect the keys and Quay holiday receptionist polite and helpful. The property is well situated, very clean with very welcomed treats ie complimentary tea/coffee/biscuits/snacks and chilled bottle of wine. There were lots of toilet rolls, complimentary soaps/shampoo etc and towels, which is always welcome, especially when travelling with a large family and room fans and hairdryers a plenty. The outdoor courtyard is secure and private with a hose/outside tap to wash any swimwear and a washing line with pegs and an indoor airer/ironing board/iron and dishwasher and washing machine tablets to get you started. Home from home. Good quality towels and bed linen. Fabulous holiday home. Car park pass is a blessing. We were travelling with two cars which was more difficult but helped to reduce the parking costs. Central location is excellent for beaches, bars, restaurants, buses,

We really loved the house and its location. The house was very clean with everything we needed fir our stay. The office was just around the corner from the accommodation with friendly and helpful staff to who provided info on our accommodation and how to get around. We were able to park in the multi-storey car park just 2 min walk away, with a fob provided by the managing agents, another great touch. The rooms at Dennets House were comfortable, clean and the area was quiet and felt safe. The harbour and town centre are minutes away, the high street has plenty of shops, a good indoor shopping mall and the usual high street banks. There is a local supermarket about 2 mins walk from our accommodation and another by the harbour for any supplies, snacks etc.. you might need. You really couldn't ask for more from this location. Getting around was easy and a trip on the ship for the Jurassic cruise is a definite must experience. The weather was dry and although slightly overcast at times, didn't take away from our fantastic break. This is a definite yes from us and we would stay here again. Thank you 😊

We had such a lovely stay here. The location was amazing, literally 1 minute walk to the harbour. Although you have to park in the car park opposite it is not a long walk at all, around 2 minutes. Cute terrace area which gets the sun, and a lovely touch having beach towels as well as showering towels, and a bottle of wine and some treats for us. Thanks for a great stay

The Dennett’s House is a very well appointed property centrally located in Poole and only a very short walk from the Quay. It is situated on a quiet side street with minimal traffic. The accommodation has a crisp modern theme, and is very clean and tidy. There is a full kitchen with appliances, and we prepared several meals there. The grocery is a short walk away. The only real noise comes from the seagulls that are constantly about. The rental office is only a block away, making this property exceptionally good if you are travelling without a car. Ride sharing services operate in Poole, though with a relatively small number of drivers. The Poole train station is a short 15 min walk away. We travelled without a car, and had no difficulty doing so. We travel often, and give this property and its staff among the highest marks of those in which we have stayed

Great location within minutes of the town and easy accessible for Swanage, Poole and Bournemouth. Place was spotless and a nice welcome pack. Thanks for providing us with a great location, close to everything and the house was just right for us (6 adults) for the weekend.
