Located in the prestigious Dolphin Quays development on Poole Quay, a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment located on the 5th floor. Fabulous central location for exploring Poole Harbour, the Jurassic coast, and beautiful areas of Dorset.
Main entrance lobby from The Quay. Lifts to 5th floor. Hall, open plan lounge / dining room and kitchen areas. Fully fitted Miele kitchen. Comprehensively equipped. Master Bedroom (5ft kingsize double) with ensuite (bath and separate shower cubicle, sink and toilet). Second bedroom (4ft 6ins standard double). Family bathroom (bath, sink and toilet).
Parking - One reserved parking space in the development's own secure car park (max height 2m / 6ft 6ins).
Services - Duvets and linen provided including bath and beach towels. Gas central heating. Hairdryers.
Technology - WIFI. Flat screen TV.
Kitchen - Dishwasher, electric oven, gas hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, washer / dryer machine.
Restrictions - No smoking. No pets.
Same day bookings can be accepted if received before to 6pm (4pm on Sundays) when our office closes. Arrivals out of office hours can be organised if requests are received before 6pm (4pm on Sundays).
PLEASE NOTE: Development work has commenced on the adjacent former Poole Pottery site. The window/s within the property do overlook this construction site and the tower crane which has been erected upon it. We have obtained a schedule of works from the developers and have been advised that contractors will be on site for a period of approximately 12 months. They are working normal working hours, usually from 8am up to 5.30pm Monday to Saturday.
POOLE QUAY - Poole Quay is an exciting, ever-changing blend of maritime activity and a focal point for a wide range of entertainment and leisure pursuits. Pleasure craft offer trips direct from the Quay to Brownsea Island , Sandbanks and beyond, whilst anglers can book fishing trips at the Fisherman`s Quay . If you simply want to promenade along the waterfront past the visitors` marina and have a meal and a drink, then the Quayside and Old Town areas are packed with excellent restaurants, pubs and winebars offering huge variety and choice. From the Quay, shoppers can stroll up the pedestrianized High Street, with its wide range of retail outlets and facilities. Safe Blue Flag sandy beaches at Sandbanks, Branksome and Alum Chines are just 15 minutes away by car and the natural beauty of The New Forest is approximately 30 minutes distance away. A short trip on the Sandbanks chain ferry offers the option of even more beautiful beaches skirted by sand dunes and walks in the National Trust protected Purbeck Hills.

The apartments at Tally Ho are in the prime position in Poole, right on the Quay. The apartment was spacious and comfortable, and the kitchen well equipped. It's very quiet at night, and with the comfy bed, we managed to get a good nights sleep every night. Poole itself was a lovely place to visit, lots of places to eat, I would recommend the Poole Arms which is just a stones throw away. Brownsea Island is well worth a visit, we also enjoyed Poole Museum, and The Etches Collection Museum of Jurassic Marine Life in Kimmeridge is well worth seeing if you have a car.

Location was great! Really close to Poole Quay where there were restaurants, bars, pubs and shops. Also a 2 min walk to the Brownsea ferry desk and boat (bright yellow kiosk). The quay holidays shop was a 5 min walk away so handy to drop off and collect keys. There is also a Tesco Express downstairs so that was handy. Also great location to explore other nearby places like Sandbanks, Christchurch, The New forest etc. Was great to have the free parking space. The apartment itself was great and so well equipped. There was everything we could have needed and was handy to have things like salt and pepper, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, washing machine etc. Also great to have beach towels as well as the ordinary bath towels. The apartment was really clean throughout however the vacuuming could have been better in the living room. Great information folder for using appliances/WiFi etc. The tea, coffee and snacks were a welcome addition too. Overall great homely place to stay, very good value for money and I would recommend. We would also stay again.
