Dorset offers an array of fantastic firework displays, with towns across the county hosting their very own Bonfire Night celebrations. This year, Bonfire Night falls on Tuesday 5th November, but you can catch displays on various dates leading up to and after the big night. Poole Quay Fireworks Night
On Tuesday 5th November, Poole Quay will light up the sky with its free-to-attend annual fireworks display! The evening kicks off at 5pm with live music, family-friendly entertainment, and activities for all ages along the Quay. The grand fireworks display starts at 8pm, promising a dazzling show over the water. This event is always a hit, so we recommend arriving early so as not to miss the display. Bournemouth Fireworks at Littledown Centre
Make sure to mark your calendars for Saturday 2nd November, when Littledown Centre hosts Bournemouth’s spectacular fireworks night! With not one but three separate displays at 7pm, 8pm, and 9pm, it’s a night not to be missed! The gates open at 5pm, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the live music from Oasis cover band ‘Oasiss’, a family indoor zone, and a giant funfair. Weymouth Community Guy Fawkes Bonfire and Fireworks
Head to Weymouth Seafront for one of Dorset’s iconic Bonfire Night events! This free-to-attend celebration begins at 5pm on Tuesday 5th November, with the family funfair and a wide variety of food stalls filling the promenade. On the beach, you’ll find a roaring bonfire to be lit at 7:40pm, followed by a breathtaking fireworks display at 8pm. Dorchester Rugby Club Fireworks
Join Dorchester Rugby Club for its biggest night of the year! On Tuesday 5th November, the club will be hosting a fantastic evening of food, fun, and fireworks. Arrive from 6pm to explore a delicious selection of food stalls, including hog roasts, BBQ, kebabs, and sweet treats such as doughnuts and pancakes. Ringwood Grand Fireworks Display
Ringwood’s 9th annual Grand Fireworks Display will take place on Sunday 3rd November at Carvers Recreation Ground. From 3pm, enjoy a fun-filled day of food stalls, live music, and children’s entertainment, including The Circus Workshop. As the evening progresses, the bonfire will be lit, and not one, but two incredible firework displays will fill the sky. The event also features fire shows to keep the crowd warm and entertained, as well as a Guy competition to add to the festivities.
