Alum Chine itself is a charming ravine which leads down to the beach, surrounded by lush greenery and a peaceful stream cascading through the gorge. A 30 minute walk from Alum Chine along the beach will take you to Bournemouth Pier, which is a 10 minute drive. Venture west, and you’ll find the beaches of Branksome Chine, Canford Cliffs, Shore Road and Sandbanks Beach.
