Poole Quay Self Catering Accommodation

Quayside, shops, historic Old Town, boat trips, events, theatre and much more…

Poole Quay is Europe’s largest natural harbour and a historic quayside were captains and pirates once stood. Poole lies approximately 6 miles west of Bournemouth and is highly accessible both by car and by train – the station is moments from the main shopping area. Poole is an excellent base for exploring the beautiful country of Dorset, its stunning beaches and its Jurassic Coast, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Poole Quay is home to a multitude of bars and restaurants offering an excellent array of culinary choice. There is something for everything from traditional pubs serving fish and chips and pies to seafood eateries that serve sustainably sourced local seafood and shellfish. Around the corner you will find Poole Museum where you can learn more about Poole’s rich history. With four floors to explore, take a deep dive into the maritime town, its historic harbour and thousands of years of tales. The museum also holds over 150 pieces of the universally known Poole Pottery.
