As part of Quay Holidays` annual sponsorship of local charities the partners, Helen and Duncan Challis last night presented a cheque to the trustees of Poole Sailability. The charity offers mobility and sensory-impaired local people the chance to experience the joys of sailing in beautiful Poole Harbour. Quay`s sponsorship will help to maintain and run the four Hawk 20 day boats which sail regularly from their base at Rockley Park. Duncan Challis, who took up the offer of an evening`s sail, thanked the Sailability team, “getting out on the water was great fun – the Hawks sail remarkably well, but they are also very stable and safe. The Sailability crews are very experienced and there`s great camaraderie on the water.
